Scope
1.1 This specification covers minimum requirements for Gyroplane, within the scope of Specification F3851 – 26 Specification for Light Sport Category Aircraft.
Note 1: Referenced standards may have further limitations.
1.2 These requirements apply to gyroplanes having the following basic features:
1.2.1 Single teetering two-bladed rotor of fixed pitch.
1.2.2 One nose wheel or tail wheel, or both, and two-main-wheel undercarriage or water floats.
1.2.3 Pusher or tractor configuration.
1.3 Units—The values given in this standard are in SI units and are to be regarded as standard.
