Scope
1.1 This specification covers compression molding thermosetting compounds consisting of unsaturated polyester resin binders that have been combined with fillers, pigments, and other chemical agents.
1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values in parentheses are given for information only.
Note 1-The properties included in this specification are those required to identify the types of molding compounds covered. There may be other requirements necessary to identify particular characteristics. These will be added to the specification as their inclusion becomes generally desirable and the necessary test data and methods become available. Note 2--ISO 3672-1: 1979(E) is similar but not equivalent to this specification. Product classifications and characterization are not equivalent.
Domestic orders are delivered via United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal Service (USPS). Transit
times average 3 to 5 business days. Please be aware that UPS will not deliver packages to Post Office Boxes.
International orders are delivered via courier post services which can be either a postal service, courier
service, or a combination of both. Standard Service is untraceable. Please allow 4-7 weeks for delivery.
