Scope

1.1 This specification covers two grades of dry bleached lac, namely, regular and refined.

Note-Dry bleached lac is also known as "bone-dry," "bac-dry," or "kiln-dry" bleached lac. The refined grade is bleached lac from which practically all the wax and insoluble matter has been removed during the process of manufacture.
