Significance and Use
Measurement of specific gravity is a tool for determining the degree of maturation of a ceramic body.
Scope
1.1 This test method covers the determination of specific gravity of fired ceramic whiteware materials under prescribed conditions. This test method is not applicable to materials attacked by water.
