Pre-Requisites
This online training program is not a replacement for the initial three-day asbestos inspector training program required for those who will perform asbestos inspections in the United States. Those requirements are a matter of United States Environmental Protection Agency (or EPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (or OSHA), and state and local program regulations. Many state and local programs also require annual certification of licensing.
It is expected that the person participating in this online training program has already received the required 3-day training as an asbestos inspector, meeting federal, state, and local requirements. In this, we will expect a participant to have been trained regarding regulation requirements, key terms, and the participant has a base-level understanding of the asbestos inspection process.
