About the Course

This comprehensive course provides an in-depth exploration of diesel fuel specifications, test parameters, proper sampling techniques, sample handling, and testing methods for seven distinct grades of diesel fuel. Designed for professionals in fuel quality assurance, engine maintenance, and regulatory compliance, the course covers essential testing methodologies used to determine fuel properties such as flash point, cloud point, water and sediment content, carbon residue, ash content, distillation characteristics, viscosity, sulfur content, copper corrosion, cetane number and cetane index, aromaticity, lubricity, and conductivity.

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the seven diesel fuel grades—Grade No. 1-D S15, 1-D S500, 1-D S5000, 2-D S15, 2-D S500, 2-D S5000, and 4-D—each suited for various diesel engine applications. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge needed to assess fuel quality, ensure compliance with industry standards, and apply best practices in fuel testing and analysis.
